Our adventure: Exploring Tennessee

(Video at bottom of page)

I’m super excited to share with you all the road trip Matt and I took last week to Tennessee. This trip was more than I could of ever imagined thanks to the stunning, adventurous man I have by my side. To say I’m blessed is an understatement, I truly feel honored to have met Matt and to call him my traveler partner, partner in crime and more. This trip was planned by the both of us a little over 2 months prior to taking the actual trip and we gave ourselves a budget of $500 to make it happen. Matt decided to make this trip happen in order to get away, in order to explore more and to give me that little bit of inspiration I needed in life. If your seeking inspiration, time alone or simply a fun, inexpensive adventure I highly recommend planning and executing a similar trip to ours.

The moment we started planning this trip, we started doing our research on what to purchase so in reality we had everything we needed a month in advanced. We used our personal money to purchase somethings and some christmas gift cards to purchase other items. We also had a few camping stuff from a prior trip so if you already have stuff, that is huge as it will save you more money. The way Matt and I look at all of this is exciting because now we already have most of the stuff we need for future adventures and all we would have to spend money on is campground and food. I’ll make sure to upload our vlogs next week on the channel explaining more of everything we purchased and how much we spent. This video is more for inspiration, to show you guys the beautiful scenery mother nature has to offer, and the best part about it all is that it’s free. Yes you’ll have to travel there, yes you’ll have to do an exhausting hike but when I tell you the climb is worth it, it truly is. The views were breathtaking and the fresh, crisp air Matt and I inhaled through it all cannot be put into words.

Being by ourselves truly was magical and it opened our eyes to a lot of things. We reunited with a great friend, we hiked some beautiful mountains, we took a tour of an amazing underground waterfall and we loved every second we woke up next to each other in the middle of the woods, and that is priceless.

We are so close to TN, I don’t know why we haven’t explored it more. What gorgeous photos, nature can be so darn pretty!
